  1. 1. Tickets

    Tickets may be sold and purchased only in British Columbia.

    Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older.

  3. 3. Important Dates & Draw Information

    Deadline
    Final ticket sales deadline: May 25, 2025 at 11:59:00 p.m. PDT

    Draw
    Prize Raffle draw: May 27, 2025 at 11:45:00 a.m. PDT

    If for some reason, the draw cannot take place on the draw date listed, a substitute draw date and time will be selected. All ticket purchasers will be able to see the amended draw date and time information posted on the same website the ticket was purchased.

    Draw will be held at RCMSAR Headquarters, 6040 East Sooke Road, Sooke BC V9Z 0Z7

    The winning ticket is drawn using Random Number Generator software (RNG). 

    All ticket holders are welcome to attend the draw.

    Winners will be posted online at https://rcmsar.rafflenexus.com/winners on May 27, 2025.

  4. 4. Winner

    Winner will be contacted by phone by the Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue.

    Winners consent to release of their names by licensee.

    If a winning ticket bears a minor's name, the prize will be lawfully delivered to the minor's parent, legal guardian or trustee.

    No tickets will be purchased by the Board of Directors of the Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue or employees involved with the conduct and management of the ticket raffle.

  5. 5. Privacy

    Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue does not sell, rent or exchange any personal information collected from our supporters with any other organization or entity.

  6. 6. Complaints

    Any complaints can be directed to the raffle administrators by emailing: funds.media@rcmsar.com. Administrators will review the complaint and take action if necessary.

  7. 7. Delay in Draw

    Should a delay occur in the draw time on draw day, every effort will be made to make the draw as soon as possible. Should an alternate day need to be announced, after approval by BC Gaming, all ticket purchasers will be notified via email.

  8. 8. Other

    Please email our team at funds.media@rcmsar.com should you require a refund for any ticket purchases or would like to issue a complaint, and we would be happy to assist you.

Cause

Proceeds from this raffle will support Kids Don’t Float.

The Kids Don’t Float Program provides families free access to personal floatation devices (PFDs) for infants, children, and youth. There are more than 110 Loaner Stations located at docks, marinas and beaches along B.C.’s coast and in the Shuswap.

Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue operates 31 marine rescue stations along the coast of BC and in the Shuswap. With over 950 volunteers, professionally trained rescue crews are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, ready to immediately respond to marine emergencies at a moment’s notice.
